Another Mexican military incursion into US

This from the Washington Times
The State Department and the U.S. Border Patrol on Wednesday described as a "misunderstanding" a Sunday night incursion of Mexican soldiers into Arizona, where they held a Border Patrol agent at gunpoint until backup agents responded to assist.
And this from MSNBC
T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, the union for Border Patrol agents, said the incursions have created a disturbing pattern.
Bonner said there have been at least a half-dozen situations in recent years in which Mexican soldiers have entered U.S. territory and shot at Border Patrol agents.
"It's a minor miracle that none of our agents have been killed or seriously injured," he said.

Why should you be concerned MT?

Your position has always been you have to get to the companies first. The border isnt that important to you. However going after companies that hire illegals are.

So why are you concerned about this?

Maybe securing our borders first is more important on a federal level. Maybe going after companies should be a state issue. OH!! SHIT!!! there i go again, using the constitution.

Any response?

There is a big difference between Jose crossing the border to get a job doing roofing for $5 an hour and a foreign military on our soil pointing guns at our border patrol.

I'm sure Michael was talking about the problem of undocumented immigrants when he said that....and this story really isn't about immigrants.

correct miles. The real problem here is that the powers that be are obviously sweping this under the rug. i mean 200 incursions in the past 12 years. that's about 1.5 times a month. Of course the puppy is just looking for a fight. I've talked about this issue before as you stated. The problem is that we have a foreign military drawing down, and firing, on federal agents.

No friend, these were not illegals these were soldiers. The kind of people that you might expect a government to respond to with their own soldiers.

Believe me. You never heard our discussion on this long ago. Hence asking for his response, not yours. He would prefer to go after companies first and foremost on the federal level. Yes it does have have the same implications no matter who crosses the border...you jackass. If i have to explain it any further then your truelly are......you fill in the blank.

I swear you dumbass libs. How the fuck do you get so stupid. You want to show your ass again. Here let me help. The 5 dollar whore named Jose, may be holding a gun of irony to your head and your wallet. You just dont know it, but i bet you do. Your to busy being arguementive with me, instead of being rational. A claim you applauded about yourself.

So how does this SPP executive fiat fit into all this?

Pointing out your obvious ignorance. You sir are a complete moron. Now go off and cry how im attacking your stupid ass. Im so done being cordial with you.

BIGDONG N JO AZZZZZZZ!!!

MTJ if you have changed your mind on this tell me or should Miles.

No sir. Stop pawing the issue. MTJ whomever crosses our borders without proper approval are illegals, soldiers or not. However sense you dont consider the Twin Tower attacks an act of war.

Are you saying that Mexican military crossing our borders and shooting at our agents, an act of war?

Miles, do you really believe Mexicans are coming here for $5 an hour? You haven't noticed all the non-POS cars that suggest otherwise indicated by the Mexican flag on them. I know many illegals doing quite well for themselves. But more importantly, these minimum wage jobs would be forced to pay higher or become automated at some level increasing pay for unskilled Americans...so they can afford college...or save...or spend it here. Let's say Bush was a conservative and deported all the Mexicans today. In that case, where supply of labor decreases and demand for labor remains relatively the same, the price of labor (or wage) increases. As that computer said in that one movie, "my logic is undeniable."

shit

You should be ashamed of yourself for being so lax with regard to deportation. You are making life more difficult for poor Americans.

I never stated that I didn't believe immigration was a problem....

What I was trying to point out, is that most of the time the discussion is about migrant workers.

Which is a slightly less severe thing than foreign boots and guns on your soil.

Yes I believe it is an act of war for foreign troops to open fire, much different than migrant workers sneaking in to escape economic hardship in Mexico.

That doesnt mean we let them off the hook either.

They're breaking the law, and should be punished.

I just feel that immigration should have a tiered status.

A. Legal Immigrant
B. Work Visa
C. Refugee Status Immigrant
D. Illegal Immigrant

A, B, and C would all be legal....

A and B exist now

C could work in a job corps type program as wards of the state until they learn english, learn a trade, and start the naturalization process.

D would get harsh financial treatment. I mean if we find an undocumented, seize everything they have, car, house, everything.

Just a thought.....probably not really possible...just off the top of my head
