What am I missing about this Palin pick? McCain should be ruined by this (not that he was ever supposed to win) yet, he's still on the tube. SHE TRIED TO BAN BOOKS! Who the fuck does that? Forget her pregnancy scandal(s), and her religious fanaticism, and her firing officials that appeared in a commercial for the incumbant mayor, and her blocking city officials from speaking to the press without her permission...SHE TRIED TO BAN BOOKS! John McCain has obviously lost his fucking marbles (the ones upstairs and downstairs) and his 'war hero card' has insufficient funds for this transaction. Even the most lithesome of the loathsome right-wing contortionists can't make banning books an ethical practice on any level. Nader, McKinney, and Barr should be all over this shit.
