Mayor sorry for kids' 'Assassinate Obama' chant

Larsen told The Associated Press that a formal response to the incident in his city was sorely needed.

"When people don't stand up and say, 'That's not appropriate, that's wrong, and those are hateful remarks,' it's almost like they are saying that it's an OK thing to do. And it's not," he said. "The mayor doesn't have any authority over the school system, but I do think it reflects upon the community."


MTJ? What about the movie depicting the assassination of GWB? Oh its just art. When is someone going to stand up against that behavior. It doesnt suprise me young kids would get the idea of killing a president. They got it from somewhere? Movie perhaps? Parents? Other kids?

Larsen is 100% correct. How did you feel about that movie MTJ? I never heard you mention anything about it. Our nations lack of fortitude allowed these kids to chant its ok to kill a president. Let alone anyone for that matter.
