Here's one for all you parents out there.

It's probably good for more than a few college students too.
'Five second' rule on dropped food unsafe

The upshot is it's okay when you're out and about but really unsafe in kitchens and BATHROOMS!?! Who the heck is picking up food off of the bathroom floor? Oh yeah the college students.

College kids do drugs that grow under cow shit so I'd say this is pretty clean.

Another handy tip: If you have to spit for some reason, make sure there is a clear 'ptew' sound when you do so. Spit hangers tend to touch whatever is being spat upon and bring particles back into your mouth. :)

I don't believe that Jefferson shot anyone on the whitehouse lawn.

Also, doing the same thing repeatedly is not "the definition" of insanity.

" There is a very persistent story that Thomas Jefferson personally executed someone on the White House lawn for treason; some sites name the prisoner as a Rodney Cox from North Carolina.[1] We have no evidence that this event ever occurred: no such thing is ever mentioned in Jefferson's papers, or contemporary newspaper accounts. The story, as far as we know, originated entirely with the movie Swordfish (2001), where it is mentioned by John Travolta's character, Gabriel Shear.

The true origins of the story are a puzzle. Several actual events could have been (severely) misunderstood or mistaken for a "Jefferson execution:"

* Jefferson was involved in drafting a "Bill to Attaint Josiah Philips and Others" in 1778, which ordered the trial and provided for the execution of the murderer and bandit Josiah Philips for treason. Josiah Philips was eventually found and convicted of robbery, not treason.[2]
* The murder of Alexander Hamilton by Aaron Burr in their famous 1804 duel has also been suggested as a possible source for the story in question."

"Neither of the above seems very plausible as a source. Unless further reliable evidence surfaces, we can only explain this story as a complete fabrication by the scriptwriters of Swordfish. "

I try not to follow men or women because it always seems to be a letdown. I do try to follow good examples though, wherever I see them.

Patriotic Citizens Seek Way to Help Homeless Hero Who Rescued American Flag:

"So we're trying to see if we can set up a fund for him or if any kind of financial institution would want to work with him, because he doesn't have anything: no ID, no identity really."

No identity, really?
This dude seems to be a great guy but "true American hero", I think not. Is this really the type of thing that gets people's respect these days? What about Faron Hall? The homeless dude that saved actual people? Well, I did a search on Faron Hall on the FoxNews website and guess what? That's right zero results. Perhaps they didn't cover it because he's Canadian but that's what a fucking hero is to me, Faron Hall!
