Immigration arguments at their core

Okay I'll cut O'Reilly a tiny bit of slack because I too have lost my temper on air. Although i would maintain it was because of belligerence not just well reasoned counter arguments.

The Bush Administration's DOJ, not the Obama DOJ made the decision not to pursue criminal charges against members of the New Black Panther Party for alleged vote intimidation at a polling center in Nov 2008.

Obama's DOJ sucessfuly obtained a default judgement against Samir Shabazz, a member of the New Black Panther Party who was carrying a nightstick outside of the polling center in 2008. (No voter came forward to claimed they were intimidated from voting on account of the NBP's actions in 2008.)

The U.S. Comission on Civil Rights is currently investigating the DOJ's actions. According to the commission it seems the DOJ's has given a plausible argument for not pusuing additional charges.

Look, I don't like the actions of groups like the NBP (New Black Panther Party). They are a bunch of racist bastards that are no better than the Klan. But it seems like somebody is making "SHIT UP".

I just wish that Mike and Clayton FACTCHECK things before they put them on the air!. Don't use Fox News as a source for information.

You guys are smarter and better than that."Grow a set please".

He could be pissed about something that annoys me too:
I'm wondering why they have border patrols and illegal immigration laws but once they get in the country it's like it's just fine for them to be here unless they commit a serious crime. If a certain village had better resource management than a neighboring village and bunches of people from that neighboring village were coming in to the certain village, then I think it would be okay for the certain village to say hold up, there's too many people coming in, let's slow that roll and see if we can help get the other village straight.

J.Christan Adams is a known Republican opperative and blogger.

Bartle Bull is a McCain supporter who dislike of Barack Obama is well known.

This incident happend in Phili in 2008. But it has been hyped up by talk radio and Fox News. Again the Bush Doj dropped the charges in this case. No one came forward to say they were intimidated by the NBP which is only made up of 3 to 5individuals.

Funny, a similar issue happend in 2006 in Arizona that involved a minuteman member carrying a firearm in and around a polling place. That case went through the same process and charges didn't meet the criteria judged by the Bush Doj for a case.

Again, I just plead that if you do a talk show get your facts straight. If you have a opinion?. Make sure its informed.

To your liking John. I said on air i havent a computer because of the storm to do any fact checking. That was said on air and MTJ and i were discussing it within that perameter i set in place during our convo. Yeh FACT check is what i do, but i also made it clear i havent done any of that. My cable is still out btw.

My discussion was more along the lines of what the BP said about killing crackers and their babies but it went another direction when MTJ brought the intimidation thing up and i also said i didnt look any of this up. Lets keep it real and not twist things please, you were listening....right??

Right now im using someone elses CPU and posting directly at you. If you listened to what was said you would have heard my disclaimer during the conversation. SELECTIVE HEARING ANYONE??

These 3 guys that make up NBP are a bunch of idiots that shouldn't be responded to let alone taken real serious. (Just like most of conservative talk radio)

It's a big story on Fox and conservative talk radio because it's been "amped up" by people who have agenda's against this current administration.

You are throwing around accusations so I would like to see some references to back up at least some of your statements please if you don't mind. Let's say I'm a hardcore "rightwinger" and I just don't believe your "leftwing propaganda". The deck is stacked against you here. Why didn't Chris Adams go bonkers when Bush's Doj dropped the charges against The New Black Panther Party?. I would think Mr. Adams being a fair minded individual would be upset at the beginning on this issue.

Your point that people may have been scared to talk to law enforcement is possible. The NBP's
are made up of 3 to 5 people and they are treated as a bunch of idiots unless it's Fox News/conservative talk radio who has been trying to stoked fears of Obama's plot to get "WHITEY".

As far as my sourcing materials to you BD. I could do that but it depends on you accepting my sources as fact. (NPR,Huffington Post,Media Matters etc.) I can read it now."liberal sources" so it can't be true or its bias. (I have this feeling you wouldn't accept it.)

This is all about stoking people that don't like Obama and playing to thier racial fears. Its done by Fox and by talk radio.

John. Where to start. These events happened...PERIOD!! They were not made up to stoke the fear fire amongst anyone. Showing them at face value and bringing it to our attention is what they are doing in talk radio. However i do see your point as to it can become all about fear mongering but it hasnt IMHO. However you seemingly would like it so. If you think im afraid because some idiot says they are going to kill cracker babies...ie (my grandchildren) well you are wrong...but i will protect my family when needed, its that simple. This isnt a reaction out of fear (fear equals preemptive measure) its a reaction to preserve my family if and when needed. Acting in preservation of ones family is based on a given right and killing anyones babies because of race isnt preservation, it is the NBP that are afraid and are the ones becoming the oppresser. The very thing they hate.

John i also read leftist sites and many other sources. So it isnt like i would just throw your sourcing aside and dismiss it as leftist. Your assumption isnt based on reality just to make it clear.

The one thing i can confidently say; it is you that has issues with rightwing sites and i have seen you over and over dismiss prudent info because they are FOX news or some other source you dont like and such. Im would love to see your sources backing up your accusations as well.

I have read some of my post on this issue and I may have given the impression that it didn't happend. It did and I'm sorry for any confusion.

Sorry but I don't recognize Fox News as a news source. They have a history of making things up and dealing in tabloid journalism. Yes, we have bias in the media. I admit that but what should be the measure if a story is accurate. We have no investigated journalism that is going on because of lack of money to fund it. Blog's like this are the source's of news and so is talk radio and lets just say that neither are real accurate in my opinion.

One key piece of evidence shows the OB-DOJ was pursuing this case well into 2009. John I'm sorry but....*clears throat*

John first said:
"The Bush Administration's DOJ, not the Obama DOJ made the decision not to pursue criminal charges against members of the New Black Panther Party for alleged vote intimidation at a polling center in Nov 2008."

This is a false statement. Obamas DOJ still pursued information on this matter and i have evidence. You will see it later.

"Why didn't Chris Adams go bonkers when Bush's Doj dropped the charges against The New Black Panther Party?."

They weren't dropped by the Bushies. They pursued it in the OB-DOJ in 2009 till when...now?...2010?

I trusted you John his assertion is true and yours are made up. Obamas DOJ dropped this case. This event happened and they have witnesses filing affidavits. Regardless the bushies or the obamaniese, these folks decided not to pursue the issue doesn't mean it didn't happen and it is very clear to me the OB-DOJ dropeed these charges.

Obamas DOJ did take Bartle Bull affidavit in 2009 so they were still working on this case and just recently dropped it. Maybe that is why Adams came unhinged. They took a respectable mans testimony and dismissed the case?

So the event happened in 2008 and which has nothing to do with what took place in 2006 and Bushies DOJ of 06...stop with the obfuscation. Obamas DOJ took Bulls affidavit in 2009 and now we find out the case has been dropped??

Why?? lack of witnesses?? Why are you not trying to destroy Bulls credibility like you are Adams. I have a lot more respect for Bulls track record than Adams but Adams inst lying about this John.

"bartle bull pdf" in Google for his affidavit.

B,

Thanks for the corrections on the links I made. I'm horrible with all the linking up on article's on the net.

There is a website called "Progressive Eruptions" that had a posting on this case and background info that supports
my point. Here is the link on this so I hope this takes?.

Progressiveeruppts.blogspot.com/blackpanther-case-dropped-by-bush.html

I call into question someone like Chris Adams who wasn't outraged when the last administration dropped a case of voter intimidation in 2006.

I find it funny that no one in the philly case was intimidated by two assholes in a predominate black neighborhood that was voting real heavy for Barack Obama. Did they call media outlets and bloggers about the action they took so they could get attention?.

John

P.S.

I find it funny that BD decided to blow over the 2006 voter intimidation example I gave and what the Bush Doj did?.

That website "Progressive Eruptions" supports your first point??

Im still looking into the 2006 case and it has no bearing on this case. You lied about the bushies and the NBP case (first point), so i can only assume your facts are not correct on the 2006 case. You are not addressing your mistake and lack of research on the OB-DOJ dropped case. With your silence on the matter i consider that an apparent sign you were lying or misinformed. After reviewing the 2006 and prudent information the reasoning behind not pursuing criminal charges nor civil charges is because the FBI determined they were outside the 75 foot perimeter allowable for protesters and such. Apparently one man was armed outside the limits. BTW....Carrying a weapon is a constitutionally protected RIGHT in Arizona. Carrying a sidearm is legal in Arizona. The gun never left its holster.

The NBP case the men were standing at the door and is on file and on video as being within 8-15 feet of the doorway in uniform and armed with a baton; brandishing it in a manor that could be intimidating.

The word is no one showed up in court to defend themselves. Shabazz has an injunction levied against him which prohibits him from brandishing a weapon outside a polling place until 2012. No voters came forward in either case, the plaintiffs were the USA on behalf of the districts in question for both criminal and civil cases.

Duly noted for the topic is this. The OB-DOJ dropped the civil charges filed. Filed by the Bushies on Jan 7 2009. The civil charges against the NBP were filed after criminal charges were dropped by Bushies-DOJ.

Johns post was a half truth at best and i may have jumped the gun calling him a liar, i apologize. There is a difference between civil and criminal. Either way Shabazz has an injunction against him based on the civil case.

BIGDOG being fair and thorough.

OK i am done with this...BOYEEEE!!!

I'd like to change the subject and stick to the post: many say that illegal immigration is the result of globalism and exploitation of human beings, maybe but not all the way. Jobs exported to countries to maximize the bottom dollar and the jobs that stayed imported working conditions that are a staple in third world countries filled in by people hungry for work, e.g. jobs americans will not work for low wages. There is gross abuse of human rights. For example the meat packing factories in many states and the orange picking in florida and georgia, people are literally treated like slaves. I will not say Mexico is a third world country, is far from it. People receive free health care not the best care but is something for the poor. If you have a job and health insurance the care is different. Social conditions have improved, if you are a senior citizen you can get a monthly check and groceries from the government, families can get aid if they qualify, schools have breakfast and lunches, computers and overall better facilities. Rural and smaller communities have clinics for the poor and roads are paved. But why do they come when they can stay and live better there than they did twenty years ago, I know of engineers and teachers who struggle in cities because there isn't enough demand but they are not crossing the border.

You, John, seemingly dismiss prudent info and you did not deliver it here thats for sure. Next time, stop with your half truths and deal in a full scope of reality.

The only difference, so i appologized for calling you a liar, is one case was a (Bushies)criminal case and the other was a (OB)civil case, all dropped by each admins DOJ. Now you either ommitted this on purpose or you were ill-informed; relying on your news source as 100 percent fact....well it wasnt as i clearly demonstrated. The intimidation factor has one caviot to it. The cops were called and the NPB were asked to leave and they did.
Riddle me this.

Why were the cops called since there was no intimidation or fear of civil unrest? The video is more than sufficient to sway my oppinion as being borderline intimidation, not enough to prosecute, but damn close??

"Gee I wonder is there anything left of that dead horse we keep beating?."

I read my previous post on this case because I try to deal with facts. If I'm wrong then I'm big enough to admit it even to people I disagree with.

It seems in the arizona voter intimidation case that someone did complain to the FBI. Diego Bernal a staff attorney with the Mexican American Legal Defnse And Education Fund made a complaint according to the Tuscon Citizen 11/8/2006 article.

This is supported by going to Media Matters.org and pulling up the posting they have on voter intimidation case in Philly. (Now you have to stroll down a little bit but its there.)

Yes, it's not illegal to have a firearm 75 feet from a polling place in Arizona but it seems like our buddies in the minuteman were
checking the Id's of mexican looking folks and doing other things that might be considered harrassment to people of a certain ethnic group.

Now,BD asked why was the cops called in the NBP case? Well maybe they were making a lot of noise and bothering people at the polling place. And if you or I missed a court date then I'm sure a warrant will be called on you and me.

But lets be clear on where our outrage should be directed. I'm sure for you somone who maybe watch Fox News and listening to conservative talk radio blasting BS at the first black president of the U.S. and buying into the talking points about race that goes back to Richard Nixon (Silent-Majority dribble) you look at a couple of strange crazy so called black radicals as the norm for the fact that we all are just that angry and will gut all of white america if we get the chance.

The diffrence is that I seen the minuteman tactics done before in a historical context against with blacks in the south after the civil war/reconstructions years/jim-crow laws. It's all legal
cause it's in the state laws.
BUT IT'S ALL LEGAL!!.

I think AG Holder should have released a statement explaining his actions when this was amped up by the "Conservative-spin blog machine". Let's move on?!.
