As long as she "can" breed of course she "should" breed if she wants to.

A close up of the gun turret of the I-401 submarine

The vessels were captured by the United States Navy when Japan capitulated in 1945, but were hastily scuttled the following year when the Soviet Union demanded access to the vessels.

The US learned many technological secrets from the I-14 and I-201 submarines and did not want the information falling into the hands of its Cold War enemy.

The two boats have now been located by a team from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Undersea Research Laboratory and the University of Hawaii-Manoa, working with the National Geographic Channel.

Designed as underwater aircraft carriers, they were able to stow three Aichi light bombers, with folded wings, in a hangar on the deck. The aircraft were designed to be catapulted from the deck and were fitted with floats to allow them to land on water once they returned from their missions.

At 400ft long, the Imperial Japanese Navy's I-400 class were the largest submarines of the war and remained the largest constructed until the first nuclear ballistic missile boats rolled down slipways in the 1960s.

Aware of its inferiority in surface ships in the Pacific theatre, the Japanese Navy wished to take the fight to the enemy and the I-201 was given the task of approaching the US coast, surfacing, preparing and launching its aircraft within minutes.

One of the earliest missions called for the aircraft to drop rats infected with bubonic plague and insects carrying cholera, dengue fever, typhus and other diseases on cities on the West coast of America. When the bacteriological weapons were not ready in time, the target switched to the Panama Canal. Japan surrendered before the attack could be carried out.

Five submarines were captured by the US in total and sent to Hawaii for inspection.

But in 1946, as the Soviet Union began showing an interest, the vessels were sunk by torpedoes from the USS Cabezon and sank almost 2,700ft off Oahu. The I-401 was the first to be located, in March 2005, but it has taken a further four years to locate her sister boat.

Dr Hans Van Tillburg, maritime heritage coordinator for the agency's National Marine Sanctuaries in the Pacific Islands, said: "If you look at a sub like the I-201, it was nothing like anybody had in World War II,

"It had a streamlined body and conning tower and retractable guns," he said. "It looks more like a Cold War sub. And the I-14 predates the cruise missile concept."

The I-14 carried enough fuel to travel 37,000 miles – or around the world one-and-a-half times – and was three times the size of other submarines of the time. It had a crew of 144, displacement of 5,223 tons and a maximum operating depth of 330ft.

Each of the Aichi Seiran bombers – whose existence was unknown to Allied intelligence – was able to carry an 800kg bomb over a distance of 650 miles at a speed of 295mph. A crew of four could ready the aircraft in 45 minutes after it emerged from the hangar on the deck and before it was launched from a 120-foot catapult on the deck.

Marcuth...you are right. IQ and education are two different things. A high IQ suggests that you have a high level of an ability to learn. An education, for the most part, suggests that you have mastered a knowledge base in some arena coupled with exposure to general studies. You can have a high IQ and not be knowledgeable. You can also have a low IQ and be knowledgeable, though unlikely. The question is which is better. The answer is obvious.

I wasn't calling you dumb. I was just commenting on your inability to master the English language, hinting at a low IQ.

Whether John is a skeptic or not is irrelevant. He is a clearly a dumb ass.

You are obviously smart enough to make a few reasonably intelligent points and so i believe that immature behavior is somewhat beneath you.

You COULD actually learn something from Jerry. He generally stands on his opinions without calling those who disagree with him "assklowns", "nutty", whatever. Opinions are not facts and so can, at times, be subject to change given new information. Flipping somebody a little shit is one thing but talkin real shit is another matter and there is a difference. It's kinda like the difference between when you say "have a nice day" and when i say it. The difference in this case is that I truly mean it when i say it.

Alright, Marcus, I'll address John on something other than his inability to communicate in the written form.

Let's analyze a statement made by John, the blog idiot.

"POTUS(who is Black) bows to a head of state of a foreign country and all the good little rednecks like (illuminutty) well they can't deal with it."

#1. Obama is half black and half white.
#2a. John uses a racist term while implying that I am a racist. This reveals the lack of common sense I mentioned earlier.
#2b. So, while attempting to call someone a racist, he reveals that he is a racist and has to preemptively deny it later on the blog. So, he reveals his true nature and then denies it, proving that he is dishonest even with himself.
#2c. He is saying that I harbor feelings about a person who is half white and half black on the blog for a show run by a half black and half white person to whom I have been listening for 7-8 years. Again, his lack of common sense reveals itself as if, perhaps, it is a constant.

Marcus...you are supporting the blog idiot who bashed you as well in his comments against the Justice Files listeners and those of that audience which come here. That includes you. Perhaps, you believe in "keeping your enemies closer."

This is Jerry, I sort of I mean I is sorry I mean sort of sorry but not really kind of depends on I am feeling at the time; but really I can be sorry at times but then maybe you are the sorry ones, then again I am not sure, maybe I should be sorry for me, no that would make me look weak; but then again...what the hell? I am sorry -
so there.

Most black people are racist, I guess, I mean maybe, if that was too strong maybe I should back off, I don't mean to offend, but dangumbant truth to power...I guess.

Bruce, the fact that you think Jerry's opinion is important because he stands on it is frankly a "gutless copout" on your part. Jerry says racist things and you think it has merit. Gutless!!!!

illumiNUTTY,

You try to turn around things I wrote about race and in the world today to make me a racist. Your the one that brings this subject and theories of white superiority up.

"Have A Nice Day"

Hey Marcus, thanks again for the kind words and always question things with a critical eye.

bruce said...

Did I hit a nerve, John?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I asked you "staight no chaser" what issues you consider to be 'real' issues and as usual received no coherent response.

Dude, you're NOT a skeptic, if you were, you still might not buy into some conspiracy theories but you would at least look into some facts and consider some possibilities instead of just assuming that they are all false.

You obviously don't really think it's important to take on or challenge things written in a blog or said on the radio because you don't do it, you just talk shit.

I never claimed to agree with Jerry's opinions but i firmly stand by his right to express them, especially when he does so without resorting to childish name-calling, something that you are apparently not capable of, quite likely because your positions are too weak to stand on their own. You could at least try to be mildly entertaining when you talk shit like others here often do.

Just because i choose not to get involved in discussing every single opinion posted here that i happen to disagree with, does not constitute a "gutless copout," it's called picking your battles. Besides, regardless of his views, i happen to like Jerry, and i really don't like you, so picking this "battle" was kind of a no-brainer. I usually do read your posts and somewhere in your many lines of incoherent babbling, shit talking, and excessive punctuation, I occasionally find one or two actual points. I have asked you nicely to elaborate(that means to explain yourself further) and you either ignore me or "staight no chaser" refuse everytime. Gutless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I generally respond to anyone's queries and i make a great effort not to be too much of a prick about it. (But not today obviously. I get moody sometimes.)

So, how about you bring an issue to the table and we discuss it like rational human beings??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Are you capable of that????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I'm wasn't sure if I was going to laugh or throw-up a little in my mouth when i saw YOU trying to give MARCUS advice about questioning things with a critical eye.

I'd tell you to have a nice day but i seriously doubt that you would anyway because you seem to be so hateful and bitter. I hope i've lived up to your excellent example of personal attacks not facts and since words don't hurt you, i don't have to feel bad about this later.(But i probably will anyway.) I'll try to remember that you weren't just askin for it, you were beggin for it by personally attacking someone who had not personally attacked you in any way, (just happened to disagree) as well as directing weird accusations towards random any or all "Justice Files listeners,KKFI."

P.S. - I bet some vag-cream would clear that yeast infection right up or you could probably just douche the sand right outta there.

To Bru: Your words are a bit trite and not really that funny. You should try harder. You seem to have issues against women. I have a serious question for you…how can someone be racist for simply reporting on a story based in reality? For instance the following:

http://abcnews.go.com/Primetime/story?id=2346857&page=1

Marcus said...

I know you're asking Bruce, but I'd like to give it a whack.

I don't like the wording you used, "based in reality", it sounds too much like watching a movie "based on a true story"- let's use the word "facts" instead. So, "how can someone be racist for simply reporting on facts"? Facts are objective and can't be racist but, the person interpreting them can be. The story you linked is definately racial, meaning it has to do with race, but it takes the bigotry of some ignoramus to make it racist. For example, did reading that story make you glad or give you a sense of superiority over black people? If yes, then you're a racist and you should stay away from children. I hope that helps.

bru said...

To Anonymous Poster:

I had to look up trite and i somewhat agree with you that my recent posts have been that way.

You may not have found my words too funny but i'm crackin myself up i gotta say.

I didn't mean to come off as having issues against women at all and i do apologize to all if i somehow gave off that impression. The crude vagina cracks were directed towards males and were intended only as slightly humorous jabs at those shit-talkers who seem to be pussies in my opinion. I was raised for the most part by women, currently have more female friends than males, and have the utmost respect for the female gender.

Someone who consistently posts stuff about race and quite often adds short racial comments along with the posts is likely pretty racist in my opinion.

Anything else?

#1. If you are saying that I am posting web sites, I post under one name.
#2. The libs are the ones who claim that the culture of white Europeans is superior to the American culture. "We should be more like Europe" comes from libs, not normal Americans. Like all normal Americans, I believe in the supremacy of the American culture. You do as well or you would have moved to whatever place you claim to be Utopia.

I think that some people are getting sucked in with some truth and then drawn down the wrong road.

Thoughts anyone?

John said...

Some thoughts I have about some of the conspirasy theories that you folks talk about on Mike's show. I don't think 9/11 was a inside job. Don't believe in the "Loose Change BS!!". I think the Fedral Reserve should be investigated like a lot of people because I think it needs to be put into some sort of oversite or done away alltogether. Don't think their is a secret organization that runs the world (example Rothchild's, Rockefeller's etc.).

I don't think all things can be explained but I try to study the evidence that is presented and
draw conclusions to things.

Now Bruce, we might have gotten of on the wrong foot to speak but I tell yah what my attack on Jerry comes from the fact that I listened to his crap about race and illegal immigration for a long time and I'm sorry but he is a racist. Maybe your just to much of a "Pu##Y" to call him on it or you believe the things he says!?!.

I mean this when I say "Have A Nice Day".

illumiNUTTY,

Liberals or Progressives say we should be more like the Europeans? Well Yeah I mean the brits, french and most countries in europe have affordable healthcare. They have put money into education and infrastucture, alternative energy sources. (Yeah I think they are ahead of the curve on a lot of things.)

I think this is the greatest country in the world but I love the USA as a ADULT and not as a CHILD. As a adult I can look at this country and say we have made mistakes but we can always work to make changes. We have the ability to do that.

Now NUTTY you sound like a rightwing wacko to me. To much 24 and Glen Beck???? But hey nothing I write or would say to you would make any sense so just go a have a nice day!!!.

Bruce said...

John,
Jerry and I have agreed and disagreed about many many things in the chatrooms. We often have civil discussions about anything and everything including race issues. We don't have to call each other pussies or assklowns to have those discussions and it seems to me that we both get much closer to some semblance of truth that way. If I said something like the chiefs suck or something and you started calling me names i wouldn't really see that as too big of a deal but these are real issues. Racial stuff, 9-11, wars, and the federal reserve are serious issues that majorly effect lives, and deaths. Talkin shit really gets us nowhere when it comes to important things and tends to draw us into deeper into polarization. Someone recently enlightened me about a more practical term for polarization that they call "oppositism." It's kinda like when some people choose to call themselves conservatives and some liberals and end up taking each other's sides even though they have not really evaluated the individual issues in their own minds. They just play teams and assume that most everything that their team says is going to be correct. That sort of labeling has an overall tendency to make us more ignorant of what's really going on, especially with regards to major stuff.

Now John, we did get off on the wrong foot but i'll tell ya that my attack on you comes from the fact that I listened to your crap about how everybody is a conspiracy kook or piece of shit or whatever, for a short time and i'm sorry but you're an asshole. Perhaps i do act like a pussy sometimes but not in this case. Jerry and I have gone round and round calling each other on different shit and i don't believe any racist stuff that he may or may not have said.

And why don't you just go ahead and say "PUSSY" instead of "Pu##Y" ? It feels good, just rolls right off the keyboard, PUSSY PUSSY PUSSY. I understand if you would not want to offend some people but everybody knows exactly what you mean when you say "Pu##Y" anyway.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASoanNjVNUQ

I can't really verify most of the loose change stuff myself but i have done my own extensive research into the events of 9-11-2001 off and on since 9-12-2001 and i have come to a logical conclusion that it WAS an inside job. If you choose not to agree, then that is your deal and i probably won't degrade you just for your opinion on that. I'm not going to call you a loon just because you can't see what's right in front of your face, it happens to people all the time, myself included for sure.

As far as conspiracy theories on The Justice Files go, I have gotten some really crazy looks and responses from people when i've talked about things like the cameras increasingly being put up at intersections and i'm not talking about the ones that give you a ticket for running a red light. When they first put some up in Lenexa when i was a teenager, they said it was for a traffic study. Now "they" won't say much of anything about them at all and they're everywhere. I sure don't remember voting for any traffic cameras to be put in and i haven't been able to get straight answers as to why they are there or when or if they will come down or who pays to put them there or who sees the footage. There are many theories around about why they are there but the fact is that they are there, just look at most any major intersection in the Kansas City area and you'll see them and then be considered a nut as well for not pretending that you don't. When asking questions about them is considered "crazy" and all theories are just dismissed as BS, then we have a serious problem.

I think that a little competition in health-care is a good thing instead of totally socializing it. Sometimes less is more especially when it comes to big government meddling in people's lives.

I am glad to be in the USA but i don't believe that this is the greatest country in the world. I do not believe that the greatest country in the world would attack other countries that have not done a damn thing to them. I don't believe that the greatest country in the world would base it's monetary system on debt. I do see that this country has greater potential than the others because of what it is. When you break it down, this "country" is a set of rules that we the people live by. These rules include a set of imaginary boarders that attempt to separate certain people from other people, which is fine by me but the rules are so selectively enforced that other "countries" often have more influence on our defense and economic systems than we the people do. I think it's time to actually BE the USA again. It's time to take the power back!

We Do Not Truly Understand...

Joy...
until we face sorrow.

Faith...
until it is tested.

Peace...
until faced with conflict.

Trust...
until we are betrayed.

Love...
until it is lost.

Hope...
until confronted with doubts.

Then when faced with these things, we arrive at a place deeper than mental understanding. It is a place called experience.

Experience then brings knowing...

... and we come to know joy, faith, peace, trust, love, and hope beyond all doubt.

Then we can share these blessings as the most valuable gifts we have to give.

~~ Author Unknown ~~

UNDERSTANDING

To understand is to love,

to look out upon the world and see there in
the human conflicts, the pain, the joys, sorrows, and agonies
in sensitive hearts who seek refuge and help,
who need a stronger power to guide their lives.

To understand is to have compassion on the multitudes,

to hate sin but not the sinner.
It is to know weakness, yet rise above it,
to see it in others, yet not condemn,
but uplift those hearts and encourage
them to go on to better things.

To understand- to truly understand is to suffer with others,

to desire to relieve their pain and to take it on oneself.
it is to sympathize, to truly live and love
with a full heart made wide and full.

This is understanding.

This is love.

It boggles my mind why people would attack the guy calling for a PEACEFUL revolution as opposed to a BLOODY one. The guy who DARES to say "Yes we still have a first amendment, I just exercised it on a public street today with many others and i'm doing it right now." Why does that seem so threatening to some people?

Thoughts anyone?

Usually an outlier, Paul suddenly has found an army of at least 307 House colleagues and 30 senators marching behind his legislation to subject the Fed to intense scrutiny by Congress' Government Accountability Office. The House Financial Services Committee endorsed Paul's approach 43-26 last week over objections from its chairman, Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass.

Why is it that the end-the-fed people blame the federal reserve for charging interest on debt when Congress is to blame for the debt in the first place?

People are saying that the dollar has lost 99% of its value because of the federal reserve. Let's take a short look at this. If that is the case, someone earning $7.50/hr (like John) should have the purchasing power of $750/hr or $1,560,000 a year (assuming a 40 hour work week). Does anyone actually believe that?

But Nutty, I'm starting to get real bored with you. You seem to repeat yourself like a "tea bagger". Most of those idiots don't have a point to make so I guess you are in a great company.

Bruce,

I don't have a issue with labels. Some of us ID ourselves as Liberal,Conservative,Moderate etc.etc. I for instance, label myself as a moderate that leans to the left. I don't put my self in a ideological box because my views are diverse.

I'm sorry but when someone says or post something that is racist or stupid its for the thinkers out in about to call them out. I have seen to many times when people are silent when they hear something that is directed at a minority group or people's sexuality and they let it slide cause they don't want to offend. The silence is a "cowardly gutless move".

This might be the norm on the JFiles blog and show. Sorry I don't play that game of accepting a statement from someone cause they said it, so its all good. I have heard Jerry a lot of times take shots at mexicans and blacks on the JFiles and Danni Alexander
and no one calls him on it.

Now Bruce,
I'm starting to think you have a fixation with assholes?? You think I'm one and then you made a statement to me liking "Fudge". Is this a projection on your part??

I mean you made a plea for civility on this blog and you take a shot at me. Bruce WTF????

Bruce said...

As far as civility goes, I guess you're rubbing off on me, John. ;)
I get caught up in the moment sometimes, like everybody else. Sorry about that for real though.

By the way, the fudge thing, was just an attempt at a "ribbing" and not meant to be taken seriously hence the winking smiley that followed the comment. I have a thing about poop, i have been known to throw-up for just stepping in dog doo and changing diapers. So no, i definitely do not have a fixation with assholes.

As far as being gutless goes, there are not enough hours in the day to debate every single statement that i disagree with on the internets. I have heard Jerry get called out many many times for his views on both of the talk shows and Ben totally degraded him on a personal level one night and in that attack barely anything was even mentioned about the his views. And as I have already explained, Jerry and I have spoken in a CIVIL manner about each others views and challenged each other accordingly but the difference between you and i in this case is, that i do it because i actually give a fuck and you do it out of malice.

http://xkcd.com/386

I really do think that you have much potential to make intelligent arguments if you could just let go of some of the anger. I know how hard it can be, believe me i do, but it's worth the effort i promise. Anger is usually rooted in fear.

"Anger is a great obstacle. The after-effect of anger is frustration and depression. We should take anger as a thief. Its very nature is to steal. We have love inside us and it is our treasure. If we allow anger, the thief, to enter into us, then it will immediately steal our inner treasure. When this happens we must immediately call the police. That is to say, when anger assails us we must cry inwardly for deep aspiration to come to the fore and chase away our anger. If we love someone, we cannot get angry; but for the time being we have lost our love. In order to regain our love, we have to call our aspiration-police to save our most precious love-treasure.
Again, when anger comes to us we have to feel that it is something that is breaking us. We have come into the world to build. If we build something, then only will the world appreciate and admire us. So we have to see which qualities build our nature. Love and peace build our real life; anger only destroys." - Sri Chinmoy

Bruce, I noticed you said it was premature to encourage violent revolution (about the tea-bag billboard). When, in your philosophy of love, is it time? Wouldn't Ghandi and King Jr. (others you like to quote) say "never"? Your Love Everyone attitude is fake and unrealistic. Why attack John (a fairminded person) over the likes Jerry and AlumniNotty? Neither of them has EVER shown empathy for anything besides white christian men. Well, maybe I just figured out who your "love philosophy" actually entails.

Bruce said...

Marcus,
I would say "almost never" to violent revolution. I would DEFEND my family/friends if it came down to it but i would not violently ATTACK someone and call it defense like dubya did for example. I'm not perfect and neither was Gandhi or King and i definitely do not put myself up there with them. I DO have a pretty good idea what's right in some respects though, but i don't pretend to be able to do what's right ALL the time. "My love everyone attitude" is something that i aspire to and i admit that i'm not very good at it yet. I get pissy sometimes but it's not my intention. I admitted that i was wrong for attacking John ona personal level and i apologized to him for it. I will try to do better. What more do you want? Do you want me to be perfect? I'm sorry but you're not going to find that in anyone on this planet. I do thank you for holding me accountable to my own beliefs because i was slippin for a minute. I have had civil discussions with both Jerry and Illuminaughty about issues in which we disagree and i don't know about them but i certainly came out a little more informed/enlightened as a result. I haven't yet been able to have much civil discussion with John but i do see progress towards that on both ends. I guess You and John don't hear anyone ever take on Jerry but i have heard it on many occasions. Though the discussions often do border around race, I haven't heard Jerry talk any shit about hating black people.
Please show me examples of how people talkin shit to each other has lead to progress. I'd like to learn about how that works if it really does. In my experience it only leads to more shit talkin, and generally encourages both parties to hold on to their disagreeable views even tighter and nobody really progresses. Everyone is welcome to their opinions of course but racist views for example, tend to lead down a path towards much worse things. That is not just an opinion, that is a fact supported by history.

If you're trying to call me a racist that doesn't really work. For one thing, regardless of your personal religious/anti-religious beliefs, I firmly believe that my Lord and Savior was born of the Jewish race. For another, i have mixed-race family members that i care about very much. Yet another thing, i have dated women of other races. And lastly I, myself, am one quarter Cherokee Native American, true victims of the most horrible race-atrocities that this land has ever seen in my opinion.

I've never personally met Jerry but i've spent easily 100 hours chatting online with him. Because i've never actually met him, i won't call him a friend but i do consider him my "homie" for lack of a better term, as well a Brother In Christ. If someone wants to debate with Jerry about whatever, that is of course your business, i do it all the time. However, when someone attacks him on a personal level, i might just jump right in there if i feel like it. And I praise the Lord for the freedom to do so.

Marcus,
I do think that John makes some good points but "a fair-minded person?" Are you being for real? Here's some facts NOT attacks about your buddy. The man calls anyone who questions 9-11, "a kook" and engaged in other juvenile name-calling without even looking into it for himself except one corporate documentary about conspiracy extremists. The man goes to a radio show blog to consistently stereotype, degrade, and make accusations of the host and guests for "questioning things with a critical eye."
You may decide to take his side just because he kissed your ass, but if we disagree then i feel that we should be able to discuss it in a civil manner if we choose to without degrading each other through petty name-calling and instead stick to facts. We can all benefit that way. You can of course say whatever you want but so can i. He may have started the shit but i fucked up too and i take responsibility and i did apologize to him for it much like he apologized to people here a while back. This man's posts have gotten increasingly more intelligent and well-written. This is progress.

I may be somewhat of an anti-extremism extremist and it's not easy. I do sometimes take sides though. I take the side of peace and love, even against myself when necessary. I take the side of my family and those i consider my friends. I take the side of those who fight for what they believe is right and i bite my tongue quite frequently out of respect for that though not often enough.

If you live on a farm somewhere, grow ALL your own food, make ALL your own clothing, generate ALL your own power, and refuse to pay ANY taxes that you don't agree with, then you can call me a hypocrite and i will be happy to listen, accept your criticism, and learn whatever you are willing to teach me. Until then, i'll just take what i like and leave what i don't.

I guess I could be like a moronic rightwing idiot and call Sri Chinmoy" a tree hugging liberal" but that is the language of somone that gets talking points from talk radio. I think that Mr. Chinmoy is a thoughtful human being.

I'm Angry? No Bruce I'm not angry at all. I at first felt pity for Jerry and illumiNUTTY. Its just that now its turned into me making fun of them because they both really can't be taken serious. They the ones that are angry I'm not. I just call them out and I get attacked about my lack of inteligence,my spelling and punctuation skils,my political beliefs,my sexuality. Direct your anger issues to them and not at me.

Being Angry is good when its focus and directed at the right source and not become toxic toward other people. MLK,Ghandi,Tommy Douglas, were individuals that focus anger at the right areas and didn't let it get out of hand where it could destroy movements they created.( example: The teabaggers and protestors on health care. Look how thier group has turned that issue as a attack on President Obama's heritage, patriotism and his ethnic background)

You have family members of diffrent races and have dated women of diffrent races. Good for you!. I just wish you call someone out that make a racist statement because its not up to me, but its up to you.

Peace and Love is great but you have to be willing to stand up. Sometimes standing up can cost you a lot(family, job even you life).

Thanks again to Marcus for standing up for me. Hey I know its lonely but I really am grateful for your support.

John - "I guess I could be like a moronic rightwing idiot and call Sri Chinmoy" a tree hugging liberal" but that is the language of somone that gets talking points from talk radio. I think that Mr. Chinmoy is a thoughtful human being."
me - I don't really know much about Mr. Chinmoy except that i like what he had to say there about anger, love, and peace. I agree that he seems to be a thoughtful human being.

John - "I'm Angry? No Bruce I'm not angry at all. I at first felt pity for Jerry and illumiNUTTY. Its just that now its turned into me making fun of them because they both really can't be taken serious. They the ones that are angry I'm not. I just call them out and I get attacked about my lack of inteligence,my spelling and punctuation skils,my political beliefs,my sexuality. Direct your anger issues to them and not at me."
me - You seemed angry to me when you started throwing around angry-sounding attacks at the generalized 'justicefiles listeners, kkfi.' Calling people out would be debating the issues and/or specific statements in my opinion. I never saw Jerry attack you in any way and Illuminaughty, well that's a whole nother deal. MY 'anger issues?' You came in here purposefully insulting all kinds of people (myself included) out of nowhere because they question things.

John - "Being Angry is good when its focus and directed at the right source and not become toxic toward other people. MLK,Ghandi,Tommy Douglas, were individuals that focus anger at the right areas and didn't let it get out of hand where it could destroy movements they created.( example: The teabaggers and protestors on health care. Look how thier group has turned that issue as a attack on President Obama's heritage, patriotism and his ethnic background)"
me - With the exception of the term 'teabaggers,' I very much agree here.

John - "You have family members of diffrent races and have dated women of diffrent races. Good for you!. I just wish you call someone out that make a racist statement because its not up to me, but its up to you."
me - As i have said, i have civilly discussed race issues with Jerry and I don't remember Illuminaughty ever posting anything racial but i could be wrong i guess. There is an anonymous poster here that does quite frequently post racist stuff and i've made a few comments but since they are too fearful to even use a nickname, it's hard for me to call them out especially when they rarely even respond anyway.

Bruce said...

John - "Peace and Love is great but you have to be willing to stand up. Sometimes standing up can cost you a lot(family, job even you life)."
me - Very true. Right now i stand up by voicing my opinions and praying to GOD that i say something good and that someone actually hears me. I just ramble on and hope that someone gets something useful out of some of the things i say. I sometimes go and protest what i believe is wrong like the federal reserve and the discrimination at the power and light district. I speak against violent revolution, even though intimidation is there, we still do have the ability to exercise our first amendment. I also speak against people being dicks to each other and expecting something good to come out of it. I screw it up all the time and i know that i'm not really the guy for that sort of thing and i take a lot of shit for it (especially from myself) but someone needs to say it and i don't see anyone else really doing it, especially here. I get the impression that some people think that i think i'm all holier than thou or whatever but i'm really not like that, i just try to be better than i have been and try to encourage others to do the same. I try to help people out with what i can where i can on the internet and in real life. I don't MAKE anyone listen to my words and i wouldn't if i could. My burned-out brain takes a minute to process what someone says. That makes anything other than idle conversation difficult for me in person so the internet is the place i usually choose to 'stand up' but i do stand up and i see that you do as well. When you and others voice your opinions i do get something out of it and i thank you for it.

KKFI has a lot of "limousine liberals,neo-hippie types" that has control over that station for a long time. They formed a group call "FCR or Friends Of Community Radio" which took over the board and ran out a lot of people who are strong advocates for free speech. They cared nothing about the financial make up of the station only the fact that they needed to protect thier shows and ego's. (Yes I have issues with the station)

Have A Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Bruce said...

John, I have read a little about FCR, but my understanding was that their deal was they didn't want corporate interests controlling the station and if that really is their deal then i'm with them. I honestly don't know enough about it to get involved and i probably wouldn't anyway. I can definitely see why you would be frustrated though.

You spoke about projection and i have some thoughts on that i feel like sharing for some reason.

I hope You have a happy Thanksgiving as well!

Perhaps some people do have a deal with projecting their feelings onto others, and perhaps they project projection onto others as well. If i have a problem like that, it's that i tend to take people at their word on stuff. I've had long conversations with convicted murders and rapists as well as gang-bangers and highly polarized politicos, and even folks in the general public who think that preemptive attacks and torture are wonderful things and that most all arabs are terrorists. I listen. When i was locked up as a kid, one of the guards shoved me around and told me that he was going to kill me. I thought about it and that may actually be the only time in my life that i ever snitched on somebody. They didn't do anything to him of course but they locked ME up even tighter and called it protective custody. The long bout with solitary confinement and constant exposure to the "worst of the worst" that followed, fucked me up pretty good i must admit. Less than 2 months later, that guard DID kill an inmate. The inmate's name was Thomas Mapes, he was from Olathe and he was a really cool guy. He didn't deserve to have his life ended by that piece of shit juvenile prison guard. The KBI investigated and the guard lost his job, the other guard who witnessed it was immediately promoted, and the high-up administrators were shuffled around to and from other facilities, and i could not get in trouble even when i was caught red-handed doing something wrong like smoking or being where i wasn't supposed to be and was released very soon after that to a half-way house. When i screwed up there and they tryed to send me back, the juvenile prison would not take me. People can call me paranoid and accuse me of projecting but i know what i saw and i know what i hear and i've found that it's best to listen and pay attention to what people say and often believe their sincerity in certain situations, just to be on the safe side.

Marcus said...

I can't believe you snitched. We had a gaurd that would choke kids and throw them around, six of us decided to beat the shit out of him one day and alot of others joined in once it started. He never came back.

I have been locked-up in every youth detention center in the state of Nebraska, spent some time in a few foster homes, too. The rule was the same in all of them- No Snitching. One of the first things I noticed after moving here is that there are alot of snitches in KC. Maybe it's a cultural thing- I had been blaming it on the meth.

b said...

Marcus,
That sucks, man, sounds like a shitty way to grow up to say the least. I DO know how bad those places can be. I only did a three year tour of the 'kansas crime-college youth circuit' though. (juvie, group home, juvie, foster home, juvie, drug treatment, juvie, YCAT, halfway house. Oh and the freaky "Tough-Love" observation/evaluation house)

I'm not sure how it is up in mayberry nebraska, but here in KC if a cop beats or otherwise fucks with you, then he's not doing his job which is to protect and serve US. Down here, the no snitching rule very much exists but does not apply to cops or prison guards. If a cop kicked my ass "in the performance of his duties" i'd sure snitch on his ass to this day. I've got rights and whether they like it or not they're going to respect that or they're not going to be in a 'position of authority' anymore if i can help it. If i'd have been a little smarter back then, i'd have snitched to the press and to the dude who got killed's parents. In the jails out here, the guards fuck with you for every little bullshit thing that they can nitpick, much like many police officers in johnson county do.

You might have something there about snitching being a cultural thing out here though, just in the yuppie/rural areas though not the inner city in my experience. One night many years ago i was post up in a motel room in lenexa, allegedly selling herbs. The cops raided the room, they didn't find anything of course by the time they got in the door. Anyway i was talking on the phone to a dude the next day who had come by earlier that night. He made one of the most insane statements that i have ever heard, and i'll never forget it. He said to me "They busted me with the weed, I HAD to tell em where i got it." He was definitely NOT a meth-head, just a really sheltered guy i guess.

Marcus said...

Well, for all the talk of "less government" you hear around here, you'd think there'd be less snitches- it can be good or bad.
